Speaking of distribution...

...was checking out the site that hosts the 'Gubra' trailer. At first I thought there wouldn't be much point in keeping the link since, from looking at the films they've distributed, they wouldn't be interested in some lo-fi film of mine much.

"Lighthouse pictures is a Singapore based movie distribution company. We were established in 2003 with the intention of distributing quality independent movies in Singapore and around the region."

Then I kept reading the list of movies they've distributed. Right there, on a list that includes L'Enfant, Elephant and Downfall, was Undead. Seeing that movie on the list gave me a little glimmer of hope. Lo-fi? You bet. Redeeming social/moral message? None whatsoever. Fun? Yup.

So yeah. Lighthouse Pictures goes in the research part of this blog for future reference.

They also released Cody Banks 2, but we won't hold that against them.

Yeah, the things we do for money indeed.

Shiite. Please don't tell me that joke (totally in jest, I assure you) has completely ruined my chances of sending lhp my film for consideration.
Foot, meet mouth.
